In the first match of the weekend, the Tigers fell to John A Logan in 3 sets. Emma Haddix had 7 kills and 10 digs. Ava Higgins finished with 5 kills. Baileigh Seale had 13 assists. Quincie Hrinik totaled 2 aces and 3 blocks.
Following the loss, Chattanooga State went on to win 3 straight games against Snead State, Pasco- Hernando, and #12 Wallace State to round out the weekend.
Against Snead State on Friday, the Tigers won in 3 sets. Emma Haddix had 16 kills and 13 digs. Ava Higgins totaled a career high 10 kills on a .409 hitting percentage. Sadie Rich had 8 kills on a .400 hitting percentage. Jaden Thomas finished with 17 digs and 4 aces. Gracie Berry finished with 3 blocks and 3 kills on a .333 hitting percentage.
Saturday games began with a 5 set match against Pasco-Hernando, resulting in a win for the Tigers. Chloe Gibson finished with a career high 44 assists and 11 digs. Jaden Thomas set a career high with 21 digs. Ava Higgins passed her career high again and finished with 12 kills. Sierra Cunningham also had a career high 11 blocks (10 assists, 1 solo). Emma Haddix had 16 kills, 15 digs, 4 blocks, and 3 aces. Sadie Rich finished with 10 kills. Baileigh Seale totaled 13 digs. Gracie Berry hit .357, collecting 6 kills and 3 blocks.
In the final win of the weekend, Chattanooga State took on #12 Wallace State in a 5 set thriller. Coming off an injury the previous day, Ella Finnell had a career high hitting percentage (.778) not making a single hitting error in all 5 sets. She collected 7 kills. Chloe Gibson had 33 assists. Emma Haddix had 18 kills and 25 digs. Sadie Rich totaled 11 kills on a .304 hitting percentage. Jaden Thomas had 18 digs and 3 assists. Sierra Cunningham grabbed a career high 3 aces. Ava Higgins set career high blocks with 4 and also had 5 kills. Gracie Berry finished with career high 7 kills and career high 9 blocks (8 assists, 1 solo).

The Tigers continued their win steak on Wednesday, September 4th on the road at Cumberland JV. Ella Finnell had 8 kills and 0 errors on a .364 hitting percentage. Sadie Rich finished with 7 kills on a .455 hitting percentage and 4 blocks. Emma Haddix added 19 digs and 4 kills in the match. Megan Crocker finished with 10 digs and Jaden Thomas with 8. Quincie Hrinik tallied 3 aces and 3 kills. Chattanooga State Volleyball is back in action with their first at home Region Match on Tuesday 9/10 at 6:30PM vs Roane.
